Then came the turning point in Sundar's Google experience, as the two began to work closely together for Google's own web browser, Chrome. The year 2008 was deemed to be marvelous as it saw the debut of Google Chrome and the announcement of Pichai being named Vice for Product Management and Development. By the end of the year 2012, he was promoted as a Senior Vice President as well as a Product Chief Executive for Google and also Android, the Android Smartphone Operating System.
